Description:

The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) is pleased to announce a funding mechanism that will advance transformational prostate cancer research through the support of high-potential creative research ideas not funded by other mechanisms.

This round of awards will focus on funding Treatment Science: studies of new ideas in man or laboratory support of a high impact clinical investigation.

Eligibility:

Investigators representing non-profit academic research centers worldwide are eligible to apply. Investigators from for-profit companies and government-sponsored institutions, i.e. NIH, are ineligible.

Amount awarded:

These awards will cover direct research costs only, will be two years in duration, and will provide $150,000 per year in support.

Indirect cost recovery:

This scheme is exempt from University of Sydney indirect costs.
