The purpose of the Heart Foundation s Overseas Research Fellowship Scheme is to support the training of Australian researchers who seek to begin or maintain a postdoctoral position investigating cardiovascular research at a relevant institution overseas. Applicants are expected to have at least two years of cardiovascular research experience.
Overseas Research Fellowships are available to medical and science graduates who have completed a PhD or MD award within the last 18 months. Applicants must be Australian citizens or have permanent residency status.
Indirect cost recovery:
This scheme is exempt from University of Sydney indirect costs.
