Description:
the Diabetes Australia Research Trust (DART) supports and develops the field of diabetes research in Australia through providing funding towards the prevention, management and cure for diabetes, as well as enabling and fostering young and upcoming researchers in diabetes research.
DART Research Grants are intended to provide for basic, clinical or applied research within the following areas:
- Biochemistry, physiology and pathology;
- Nutrition;
- Epidemiology;
- Psychology;
- Education research;
- Health care and delivery;
- Complications, retinopathy, neuropathy, foot care.
Eligibility:
Only one application will be considered from each researcher.
Amount awarded:
Research Grants of up to $60,000 will be awarded for the highest ranked applications received

Indirect cost recovery:
This scheme is exempt from University of Sydney indirect costs.
