Telstra Innovation Challenge
Humanities & Social Sciences; Health Sciences; Sciences & Engineering
The Telstra Innovation Challenge offers Australia's research and development community the unique and exciting opportunity to make a difference. This is your chance to contribute an idea that is relevant to Telstra and a benefit to Australian customers and industry.
This year Telstra is also offering The People’s Choice category, dedicated to 'Innovation for Disaster Assistance' designed to assist communities before, during or after a natural disaster. This special category will be voted for by the public. All other supported innovations will be chosen by Telstra.
You can submit a project whether you are affiliated with a research centre‚ a university, an established or start-up company.
If your project is selected for support through the Telstra Innovation Challenge, there is potential to access a wide range of benefits that only Telstra can offer. These may include:
- access to Telstra products, services and networks to build and trial your project
- access to Telstra internal subject matter experts
- facilitated introduction to Telstra's technical and commercial partners
- external exposure of your project through joint PR initiatives
- other support as appropriate.
To apply for the Telstra Innovation Challenge you need to complete and submit the following form. Each proposal must provide an outline of your project (no more than 300 words) and you need to attach a short CV for the project lead. Entries close at 5pm (AEST) 1 August 2011. Your proposal will be automatically considered for the general Telstra Innovation Challenge (Telstra Selection Category). You will need to specify if your proposal is for the People’s Choice category.
