Description:

Innovator Grants offer opportunities for researchers of any background that have a strong commitment to research, have demonstrated their potential to undertake high quality scientific research and have an ability to identify novel ways to answer pressing questions for improving patient outcomes.

CCNSW seeks proposals from all areas of basic, clinical, public health practice, behavioural, and epidemiological research which address agreed research goals in:

• glioma,
• liver cancer
• Barrett's Oesophagus and Oesophageal Adenocarcinoma.

Eligibility:

• Applications must be supported by the host institution.
• Research groups working in Australian institutions are eligible to apply.
• Applications must address at least one of the research priorities

Amount awarded:

Up to $100,000 will be provided to the recipients’ institution in the form of a one-year Innovator Grant

Indirect cost recovery:

This scheme is exempt from University of Sydney indirect costs.
