The Australia-Korea Foundation (AKF), the Australian Academy of Science, the National Research Foundation of Korea and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering invite applications for their Early Career Science and Technology Researchers (ECR) program. The ECR program has been created to enhance Australia-Korea links in science and technology.
This program aims to:
- Enable active Australian early career researchers (up to and around 40 years of age) to visit Korea in order to raise and awareness of, and interest in, Australian research experience in Korea
- Provide Australian participants with the opportunity to access equipment, knowledge and skills not available in Australia; facilitate the development and strengthening of personal research networks; investigate institutional cooperative opportunities and explore possibilities for shared research infrastructure in both countries
The ECR program supports researchers who have recently completed postgraduate research qualifications and are currently employed in research or academic positions. The successful applicants will have had international exposure, be well published and keen to develop links with Korea.
