Description:
DVA’s Applied Research Program (ARP) commissions research that contributes to the development of improved policies and service delivery, and/or enables the Department to better identify the health and wellbeing needs of the veteran community.
The ARP funds a wide variety of research from many different disciplines including medicine, epidemiology, health promotion, psychology, economics, sociology and public policy. High quality cross-discipline projects are encouraged.
To be successful an ARP application needs to be substantially veteran specific not just beneficial to veterans as a subset of the general population. These can be found in the guideline on the website.
