Description:

The aim of this program is to provide travel funding for Australia based researchers to access overseas synchrotron facilities for experiments that cannot be performed at the Australian Synchrotron.

Applications must be submitted online via portal.synchrotron.org.au .

• A copy of the proposal submitted to the overseas facility and the signed application form MUST be uploaded into the online system prior to the application deadline.
• We are accepting applications for travel to all overseas synchrotron facilities for experiments scheduled from 1 March 2011 onwards.  You may resubmit a previously unsuccessful application for travel funding provided the scheduled beamtime dates are after 1 March 2011. 
• You can submit funding applications even if your beamtime has not yet been approved by the overseas facility.
