The recent release of the Excellence of Research in Australia (ERA) report has changed the Australian research environment.
Universities are currently facing a strategy overhaul as they consider the most effective methods of moving forward under the new ERA system. What are the impacts? What is the most effective method to improve research capacity?
This conference will examine the implications of ERA and how it will affect government funding and governance. It will also explore how the international community will react to this measure of research capabilities, including international university rankings, global students and staff, and worldwide industry collaborations
