SIR ZELMAN COWEN UNIVERSITIES FUND PRIZE FOR MEDICAL RESEARCH - Call for Nominations for the 2012 Award

The Sir Zelman Cowen Universities Fund is a private charitable trust which has supported medical research at the University of Sydney and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for over 30 years.

In 2004, the Trustees of the Fund established the Sir Zelman Cowen Universities Fund Prize for Discovery in Medical Research . Nominations are now sought for the 2012 award of the Prize.

The prize will comprise an award of $10,000 and a medal and will be for medical research at the University of Sydney by a researcher under 45 years of age at close of applications. Nominees should have made a major contribution to the understanding or treatment of disease.

Nominations should be made according to the Prize Guidelines and pro forma available from the Fund's Office.

Completed applications should be sent by email to the submission address below by the closing date.
