Description:

The Travel Grant is offered to support researchers working in any area of asthma research to travel to research institutions, scientific meetings or conferences to disseminate research findings, outline current research or expand their expertise in asthma research.  Applications should be for travel during 2013.

 

The Grant may be used to cover a return airfare, plus registration, accommodation and ancillary expenses.  Priority will be given to applications which show evidence of seeking matching funds.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Australian citizens or hold Australian Permanent Residency.  The Grant targets the early career development of young asthma researchers, eg PhD students, young investigators or allied health and nursing professionals engaged in asthma research.

Amount awarded:

Up to $2,000.
