Postgraduate Scholarship in Complementary Medicine Use and Community Pharmacy

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate with a good honours degree in pharmacy or a health related field to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in Pharmacy. The project is to investigate the use of complementary medicines by consumers and community pharmacists, as well as other healthcare practitioners; and identify strategies to ensure that consumers receive appropriate and accurate information leading to quality use of complementary medicines.


Applicants should have a particular interest in complementary medicines. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.

Amount awarded:

The scholarship is valued at $25,000 per annum (tax exempt) and may be renewed for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress.
