Motor Neurone Disease Research Institute of Australia PhD Scholarship MND top-up grant
This grant is an incentive for an outstanding PhD student with a top-up for the stipend provided by their University. One 3-year PhD top-up grant will be offered for a PhD student who has been awarded an Australian University PhD scholarship for biomedical or public health research in motor neurone disease. The grant will be awarded after the announcement of University PhD Scholarships in December 2013.
The applicant must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residential status.
This grant will provide a $5,000 per annum stipend for the PhD candidate and $5,000 per annum project costs for the Principal Supervisor.

Expressions of interest in the grant need to be submitted directly to the funding body by Friday, 27 September 2013. A final application must then be submitted to the funding body by Monday, 16 December 2013 if the applicant is successful in securing a University PhD Scholarship.
